Objective
To have fun celebrating an American holiday and review the parts of the face
Time
45 minutes
Materials
1 sheet of white paper
Cardboard triangle (pre-cut)
1 red construction paper circle (pre-cut)
2 white contruction paper circles (pre-cut)
Pencil
Rubber
Crayons (assorted colors)
Markers (assorted colors)
Glue stick
Scissors
Vocabulary Used
Colors
- red, yellow, green, orange, brown, white, blue, etc.

- Trace, draw, write, color, erase
Christmas

Parts of the Face
- Face, eyes, nose, mouth, ears
Instructions
- First I showed my class a short music video about Rudolph
- Show your class the completed Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer for an example
- Give each student a sheet of white paper
- Tell them to trace their hands on the paper for the antlers
- Have them color/decorate the antlers then cut them out
- Glue the antlers to the cardboard triangle
- Ask them some questions about the eyes then give them two white paper circles
- Glue the eyes onto the cardboard triangle and color the eyes
- Ask them questions about the nose then give them one red paper circle
- Glue the nose to the carboard triangle
- Finished!
- While they are making their reindeer I played Christmas and winter songs in the background
